Why did you decide to join the ILCF?
This institute has a great reputation for teaching French. Since I plan to pursue a master’s degree, I decided to first complete a language course in a French-speaking environment. This way, I can gain a stronger command of the language and a better understanding of French society, which will prepare me for my master’s program.
What do you do in the BDE?
I serve as the communications and public relations officer. I am responsible for announcing various programs such as events, recreational and educational activities, and more. I am also tasked with taking photos and recording videos of our activities, while actively maintaining strong and stable communication with other associations and faculties. Additionally, I am in charge of managing our social media pages.
What about the BDE made you want to join?
Documenting everything that happens in my life and capturing every moment for history is my main motivation for being part of such projects.
As someone with an academic background in art and photography, my main goal is to produce visually appealing content based on aesthetic principles. On the other hand, my primary concern is to document these days, the people, and the events for historical purposes. I hope to stay on track with my plans and, at the end of my tenure, present a photo book as a keepsake to ILCF.
What are you most excited for regarding this year’s BDE?
Collaborating with skilled individuals from different nationalities, participating in social and academic activities, and creating a visual record of the days we spent and the experiences we shared at ILCF.
