The ILCF at the Inter-School Challenge

A celebration of dance, creativity, and solidarity lit up our campuses during the 36th edition of the Inter-School Challenge!

This exciting competition brought together students from various schools, each showcasing their talent and school spirit through choreography and artistic production. The dancers performed twice—first on March 26 in the main hall of the Saint-Paul campus, then again on March 27 at the Carnot campus.

This year’s theme? “UCLy 2K” – a nostalgic tribute to the 2000s, with performances set to iconic hits from that era. But the challenge went far beyond dance since it was accompanied by a myriad of activities, such as creating a banner that showcased their creativity and team spirit and gathering the most bottle caps possible (by donating it to an association, they get a wheelchair for a person with a disability in return). Each school even produced a trailer, featuring a mascot—ILCF needed to add a 'Britney Spears' cameo in their creative vision. Can you spot her in the video below?

We are proud to share that our very own ILCF students left their mark and even brought some accolades to our institution:
🏅 4th place in the main dance challenge
🏅 1st place for best banner
🏅 2nd place in the Paralympic volleyball match

We couldn’t be more proud of our students for their energy, dedication, and team spirit. Regardless of rankings, they’re number one in our hearts.

Watch their amazing dance routine and discover the vibrant moments that made this year’s Challenge Inter-écoles unforgettable!
