Cultural activities at the ILCF

The Cultural Activities Department in charge

The role of the Cultural Activities Department is to welcome and support all ILCF students throughout their stay. Members of the office are in direct contact with students as soon as they arrive, to answer their questions and direct them to the appropriate services.

An "à la carte" programme

Studying at the ILCF isn't just about taking classes and passing exams, it's also about enjoying the culture and life of the city. That's why our team offers an enriching cultural programme in and around Lyon.

What does this programme consist of? It consists of outings, guided tours and tastings at the university, in Lyon and the surrounding area. Enjoy a wide range of experiences: excursions to Annecy and its lake, a tour of the medieval city of Pérouges, dinner with Lyon families, etc.

All activities are supervised by professional, experienced activity animators. They will also be able to inform you about local cultural life and give you their suggestions and good tips for going out in the city.

Activities are put together in line with events in Lyon, and sometimes in collaboration with cultural players such as Greater Lyon, the Célestins theatre or the Musée des Confluences. UCLy offers many additional activities thanks to the Pôle International, which supports all the university's international students.

Taking part in this programme gives you the opportunity to practise your french outside the classroom, immerse yourself in the local culture and have a good time with friends.

Listening to your initiatives

When students have ideas for activities, they can submit them to the team, who will help them organise them. They can also go to the office for information on local cultural life. Every year, a BDE is elected at the ILCF, in charge of its own programme!

How do I register?
