Rector takes part in USAC's 10th anniversary celebrations

USAC celebrates its tenth anniversary

USAC - University Study Abroad Consortium - is an institution that set up its Lyon branch 10 years ago and moved to our university's Saint-Paul campus in 2019.

This American consortium of more than 40 universities based in the United States cooperates with UCLy in various fields, especially through the many American students who come to develop their French language skills at the ILCF.

It was against this backdrop that the USAC General Assembly was held in Lyon this year, bringing together a large number of Vice-Presidents and Directors of International Relations from the various universities that make up the group.

As part of the inauguration of this General Assembly, Rector Grégory WOIMBÉE welcomed these representatives on Wednesday 16 October in the company of the US Consul, Mr Richard JOHNS, the President and CEO of USAC, Ms Alyssa NOTA, and the Director of the USAC-Lyon office, Mr Stefano PIZZETTI.
