The ILCF Decorates Its Spaces for the Holidays
updated on 12 December 2024
ILCF - Institut de Langue et de Culture Françaises
At the start of December, the Institut de Langue et de Culture Françaises (ILCF) embraced the holiday spirit as students gathered to decorate the institute's common areas. This event combined creativity, conviviality, and a collective spirit in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Collaborative and Original Decorations
At the heart of the activity was a beautifully decorated Christmas tree set up in “La Bulle,” a common area at the ILCF. Shimmering garlands, colorful ornaments, and bright stars were carefully arranged to capture the festive spirit. Notably, many of the decorations were handcrafted by the students themselves during creative workshops organized specifically for the occasion by the cultural activities department.
These workshops enabled participants to create unique ornaments using a variety of materials, including colorful felt, beads, and festive ribbons. Moments spent cutting, gluing, and assembling not only unleashed creativity but also fostered conversations and team spirit.
A Sweet Treat in Addition
The creative efforts didn’t go unrewarded. To cap off the afternoon of decorating, crêpes were served to the participants, adding a delicious touch to the event. Sharing a simple yet appreciated snack further enhanced the convivial atmosphere of the day.
A Community Moment at the ILCF
This event reflects the vibrant student life at the ILCF, where collective initiatives strengthen bonds between learners in a multicultural setting. Through this activity, students were able to express their creativity while taking ownership of their learning environment.
Beyond the decorations, the afternoon brought together people from diverse backgrounds in a moment of sharing and collaboration, perfectly aligned with the institute’s values of openness and diversity.
The ILCF invites you to visit its premises to admire these festive decorations and join the community in celebrating the season. Festivities will continue throughout the month with more events to come!
